From the president…
First things first, I would like to say that I am very optimistic after last week’s board meeting.  As always. let me thank the board members for their regular attendance and enthusiasm for our  organization. We have some really good ideas on the table.  I am pleased to see that our members are interested in growing memberships. Remember there is strength in numbers—we can get more accomplished (e.g. passing bills before the House  and Senate to further benefit our industry.) Also we are making this organization more family friendly by putting onvenues that would make it possible to include family members young and old. This would make it more appealing to members to attend and be part of these events. The more we can  do out in the community, the more we will benefit our organization immensely. Also we are dedicated  to unity. By this I mean that this association is not just for one particular region, but for towers statewide. I cannot stress enough the importance of a unified organization. We need to impress on  potential members that we are here for them and for the industry as a whole and we represent every tower throughout the state of MD.   I am passionate about getting out and meeting face to face with fellow towers and shaking  their hands. I want to get to meet and talk with other fellow towers and find out what they would like from the organization. Also I want to know what concerns and problems they are encountering. The  more we meet and greet we have a vast window of opportunity to grow and learn. We can gain knowledge and wisdom from each and every one. Everyone has something to contribute and bring to the table. We are here for you and we are listening!
As always it is a pleasure serving as your President and I look forward to seeing each and every one of you at the next meeting. Till then, feel free to contact me anytime day or night with suggestions or concerns. I look forward to hearing from you. My door and my mind will always be open to you.
